Erik ten Hag, a former coach of Manchester United, has been invited by Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, to visit the Cityzens at Etihad Stadium in the near future.
The speech was given by Guardiola on Wednesday, the day before Manchester City’s EFL Cup match against Tottenham Hotspur.
United fired Erik ten Hag on Monday, the same day he presided over a 2-1 Premier League loss to West Ham United. Guardiola stated (via Fabrizio Romano) that they would welcome Erik ten Hag’s visit.
“Sure thing! Holy cow! We remain available at all times, but I really doubt it will materialize.
“However, since I have some familiarity with his agent, the connection is there; therefore, there is no issue for either of us…”
