Chidera Ejuke, a prominent player for Sevilla of the LaLiga, has a serious hamstring injury, the club announced, according to Vilrog.
The injury would likely sideline the Nigerian international for three months.
Sevilla lost 5-1 to Barcelona at the Nou Camp on Sunday, and Ejuke hurt himself in the process.
Albert Sambi Lokonga came on as a substitute for the 26-year-old towards the end of the first half.
Sevilla announced the winger’s injury in an X post after he underwent testing on Monday.
Suso sustained a low-degree thigh injury, while Ejuke’s hamstring injury is of a higher grade.
Get back on your feet, guys.
With Sevilla this season, the ex-Royal Antwerp player has made nine appearances and scored once.
